01. Orbs are loosely defined as round balls, globes, globules, or balls of light. Technically, to be called an orb something must have depth to it, not just be a flat plane.
02. They appear in all ranges of brightness from very bright to faded to barely visible and in a range of colors or no color, just transparency.
03. From a paranormal view of reference, they are believed by many to be spirits of the dead, separate life forms, and even, nature spirits.
04. From a scientific base of theory, they are believed to be due to developing/processing flaws during photo sessions, camera lens refraction and lens flare.
05. Natural causes also include pollen, insects, dust, rain, your breath on a frosty day, and snow.
06. And finally, but I am sure it won't end here, they could even be watermarks on a photo.
